Rav Yeva Saba DeMishpatim
Rav Yeva Saba was a Tana who moved from Bavel to Eretz Yisroel that is mentioned a few places the Zohar, especially in Parshas Mishpatim. In that incident an apparently elderly ignorant man meets Rebbe Yosi and Rebbe Chia, seemingly uttering foolish statement but goes on to reveal deep Kabalistic mysteries regarding the Nefesh and reincarnations. It is only at the end they realize this elder is non other then the great Rav Yeva Saba. It is after this incident that he is named 'Saba DeMishpatim'. His school authored the book of 'Safra dBai Rav Yeva Saba'. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochi praised Rav Yeva calling him a mighty strong supernal lion to whom a number of warriors are considered nothing.
