Rav Yeva Saba was a Tana that is mentioned in the Zohar in a few places, especially in Parshas Mishpatim. In that incident an apparently elderly ignorant man meets Rebbe Yosi and Rebbe Chia, seemingly uttering foolish statement but goes on to reveal to them deep Kabalistic mysteries of Reincarnations. It is only at the end they realize that it is non other then the great Rav Yeva Saba. It is after this incident that he is named 'Saba DeMishpatim'. His school authored the book of 'Safra dBai Rav Yeva Saba'. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochi praised Rav Yeva calling him a mighty strong supernal lion to whom a number of warriors are considered nothing.
