Rabbi Yissachar Dov from Zlatshov was the Rosh Beit Din in Zlatshov, later moving to Eretz Yisroel and settling in Tzfas. He is known for his books 'Bat Aniy' on Pilpul and 'Mivaser Tzedek' on the Torah. Towards the end of his life, he became blind. Rabbi Yissachar Dov from Zlatshov passed away on the 25th of Av 1795 and was buried in the Old Tzfas cemetery.

Early Life

Born to Rabbi Leib. Was the son in law of Rabbi Avraham Chaim of Zlatshov. Sometimes he would sign his name Dov Ber scion of Tzvi.

Books

Rabbi Yissachar Dov from Zlatshov received many approbations on his books from leading Rabbis including Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Barditchuv, the Maggid of Kuznitz, the Chozeh of Lublin and Ohev Yisroel of Apteh.
