'''Abba Oshia Ish Tirya''' was a forth generation Eretz Yisroel Amora. He was born on the same day Rabbi Avin passed away and was considered his spiritual successor. For his livelihood, Rabbi Oshiya Ish Tariya worked as a laundry washer. He would only wear garments spun from a specific type wool so people would be unable to accuse him of stealing threads from the clothing of his clients. When Rabbi Oshiya Ish Tariya passed away, his coffin as seen floating in the air.

==Kever Rabbi Oshiya Ish Tariya==

Rabbi Oshiya Ish Tariya is buried in the Druze occupied town of Peki'in, a little distance away from the cave or Rebbe Shimon bar Yochi. Right across the Wadi from the kever, a Yeshiva was established for teenage boys. During the construction that took place for the expansion of the courtyard surrounding the Kever, an entrance to a cave was uncovered under the Tziyun. Often a Tziyun was built above a cave to mark the location of the Kever under it. A known segula it to pledge a meal at the Kever for a minyan of people, in honor of Rabbi Oshiya if ones prayers will be answered and he achieves his needed salvation.
