Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaacov was a forth generation Tana and one of the younger students of Rabbi Akiva. He was counted along with the Sages of Usha.
Teachings
A person who fulfills one mitzvah, acquires for himself one advocating angel; he who commits one transgression, acquires against himself one accusing angel. Repentance and good deeds are as a shield against retribution.
Kever Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaacov
Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaacov is buried in Kfar Chananya not far from the tombs of Abba Chalafta and his son Rabbi Yose.
