Rabbi Haim Sitton of Safed
Rabbi Chaim Siton was a head of the Sephardic community of Tzfat and author of the 'Eretz Hachaim'. Together with Rabbi Shlomo Kavler they would study the books of Rebbe Nachman of Breslev in the Ari Shul.
In his youth Rabbi Chaim Siton was once knocked off the roof of Kever Rashbi during the Lag Baomer Hillulah in Meron. His mother expecting to find him dead, was surprised to see him walking around. Rabbi Chaim Siton recited how when he fell an elderly man standing below had caught him in his hands and then instructed him to enter the room of the holy grave.
Rabbi Chaim Sithon is buried in the Cave of the Sephardic Rabbis in the Ancient Tzfas Cemetery. His Hillula is Vav (6th) Iyyar.
