Rabbi Yehuda Nesiah I was a first generation Amora and head of the Sanhedrin. He was a grandson of Rebbe Yehuda Hanasi and is sometimes referred to as Rabbi Yehuda the Second. Rabbi Yehuda Nesiah II and Rabbi Yehuda Nesiah III were his descendents. He is widely known for having nullified the previous ban against the use of Gentile oil. Rabbi Yehuda Nesiah is buried in the village of Ovnit - Mount Yavnit.

Kever Rabbi Yehuda Nesiah
Rabbi Yehuda Nesiah is buried in the village of Ovnit, Northern Israel, right near the cave that supposedly contains the graves of Abbaya and Rava. It is located directly underneath the IDF army base. Buried along with Rabbi Yehuda Nesiah are the members of his Beit Din.
