[edit] Fiddler’s Inn

The Fiddler’s Inn is so-named in recognition of the Inn’s owner, Yonatan Lifshitz, who is the lead violinist in the Simply Tsfat ensemble. The cozy inn consists of three vacation apartments located in the midst of the Old Jewish Quarter.

[edit] Overview

The Inn consists of three units including two two-bedroom units and one four-room cottage. The two room apartments each have a bedroom, a living room and a kitchenette. The four-room cottage has two bedrooms, a kitchenette and a living room/dining room area with a large kitchen area for eating meals. Each unit has a pull-out sofa which can accommodate two additional people. The three units are capable of accommodating a total of 17 people. The units have been newly renovated and the wood paneling, stylish tiling and classic furnishings provide an atmosphere of warmth, comfort and luxury.

[edit] Location

The Fiddler’s Inn is a short few-minute walk from Jerusalem Street, the main commercial street of Tzfat, where guests can find restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store. Another few minutes’ walk in the opposite direction brings guests to the center of the Old Jewish Quarter where they can visit the city’s historic synagogues, religious sites and art galleries. There is a courtyard for cottage guests’ use and a porch which is attached to one of the apartments.

[edit] Amenities

Each unit has wireless Internet access and air conditioning/heating. Two of the units have jacuzzis. There is parking nearby and, unique to Tzfat, there are no stairs to access the units. The kitchenettes have refrigerators, toaster ovens, electric burners and microwaves. A washing machine and dryer are available for guests’ use.

[edit] Religious Needs

The Fiddler’s Inn accommodates observant guests with Sabbath/holiday amenities such as a Sabbath electric plate and hot water urn. There are separate sets of kitchen utensils which are clearly marked for milk and meat.
