The Flood<ref name="Rashi Berashis 7:23">Rashi Berashis 7:23</ref> obliterated all beings that were upon the face of the earth, including man, animal, birds of the skys and creeping things. They were obliterated from the earth. Only Noach and those with him in the ark survived. Although Noach survived, it was rough experience for him as well.
