The building housing Safed’s Palacio Domain dates back to the 12th century, built at a time when the Mamelukes ruled the region after having defeated the Crusaders. The renovated lodgings, a combination of guesthouse, spa, boutique hotel and palace, was restored with the goal of creating a romantic and intimate setting for guests who want to enjoy their Tzfat stay in comfort and style.

Rooms are furnished with period antiques as well as small fridges, flat screens and DVDs. Some rooms have jacuzzis while others have fireplaces. The room sizes differ and each room has its own spectacular view, with some rooms looking out onto the Meron mountain range while others allow guests to enjoy scenes of the ancient Old Jewish Quarter or the galleries of the Artists Quarter.
