Yehoyada Hakohen was the father of Binayaho, he served as the head of the Sanhedrin during the time of King Dovid. His son Binayaho had a son Yehoyada the secound who inturn had a son Binayaho the second who was famous for being a leading Kabbalist and the head general of King Shlomo.

Yehoyada Hakohen was the father of Binayahu, one of King Dovid's early warriors. Binayahu ben Yehoyada had a son Yehoyada the second who in-turn had a son Binayahu the second who became famous as a leading Kabbalist and the head general of King Shlomo. During the reign of King Yoash, there was another Yehoyada who served as Kohen Gadol and was possibly their descendent.

Head of the Sanhedrin

Both Yehoyada Hakohen's were big Tzadikim. Either the original Yehoyada or his grandson served as the head of the Sanhedrin during the time of King Dovid. He was also manager of the Kohanim and would at times be the one to attain answers through the Urim Vtumim.

Kever Yehoyada Hakohen

Yehoyada Hakohen is buried under Safed right above Wadi Amud. This is not the Kever of Yehoyada Kohen Gadol father of Zecharia Hanavi since he was buried along with the Kings of the House of Dovid.
