Was one of the Breslov Elders living at the start of the 20th century. Moved to Eretz Yisroel and was counted as one of the main students of Rabbi Avraham ben Nachman. So respected was he in Jerusalem that even Rabbi Chaim Zuninfeld the chief rabbi of the city would stand up for him when he entered the Bet Kneset to pray.

Was very into living in Jerusalem as opposed to anywhere else at that point in time.
