===Creation of the Hillulah===

The Hillulah of Rabbi Yossi ben Zimra was started around 1964 by Shlomo Miamon at the urging of Meir Yehuda Getz, former Rabbi of the Moshav. Miamon had been ill for a while and Rabbi Getz suggested that he establish a hillulah for the village Tzadik as merit for his recovery, together deciding on Rosh Chodesh Iyar.
