Reb Shimshon Barsky was a descendent of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and the author of Eitzos HaMevuoros. He was one of the leading Breslov Chasidim in Uman before the Communists took over the country. He passed away on Rosh Chodesh Sivan, 1935.

Kever Reb Shimshon Barsky

Reb Shimshon Barsky is buried in the newer Jewish cemetery of Uman. Unfortunately the entire cemetery was razed during the period of WWII and the following communist regime. Ohali Tzadikim an organization run by Yisroel Meir Gabby researched the location of his grave and built a Tzion in the approximate location based on testimony of elderly locals.
