Moshe Luria was the son of the Arizal who passed away when his father revealed to Rabbi Chaim Vital the mystery of Mochin DiKatnus. This incident is used as an example of the 'Paths of Hashem' that are difficult for the human mind to understand since the Ari was forced to reveal this mystery to Rabbi Chaim Vital once he requested it as he stated his entire purpose of coming into this world was to rectify this student, yet he was punished for it. It is also given as a warning to avoid unnecessary discussion about the elements of Katnus.

Moshe Luria is buried near his father in the Ancient Tzfat Cemetery.
