Although [[Dovid HaMelech]] was not permitted to build the Beis Hamikdash himself, he did take an active part in the preparation of the Western Wall of Har Habayis. Therefore in his merit no nation or enemy succeeded in destroying it throughout the ages.

Survival

Although Dovid HaMelech was not permitted to build the Beis Hamikdash himself, he did take an active part in the preparation of the Western Wall of Har Habayis. Therefore in his merit no nation or enemy succeeded in destroying it throughout the ages.
