Beis Shammai were the students of the academy founded by Shammai the Elder. They often argued with Beis Hillel, the students of Hillel the Elder, generally taking the more stringent approach.
Kever Beis Shammai
A number of the Sages of Beis Shammai are buried in a Cave on the mountain across from Meron. The cave is located halfway up the mountain. On top of the mountain is the Kever of Shammai the Elder.
